# How to Disable Two-step Verification?

To disable two-step verification, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Go to the [Phone Numbers](https://business.facebook.com/latest/whatsapp_manager/phone_numbers) page in your WhatsApp Business Manager (make sure you select the correct **Meta Business Account** associated with your WhatsApp Business Account).
2. There you'll see a list of all your phone numbers. Click the **Settings** icon next to the number you want to disable two-step verification for.
3. Then, open the **Two-Step Verification** tab and click the **Turn off two-step verification** button to disable it.

4. This will trigger a "Turn Off two-step verification" pop-up. Click **OK** to proceed.

5. An email with a link will then be sent to the email address associated with your Meta Business Account. Use the link to disable two-step verification.

6. Clicking the link will take you to the following screen. Click the green **Turn Off Two-Step Verification** button here.
