# WhatsApp API & WANotifier Pricing Explained

We use the **official WhatsApp Business API** to let you send bulk marketing and transactional messages on WhatsApp, so there are **two charges involved** when you use WANotifier with the API:

### 1. Charges for our tool

We offer **three paid subscription plans** and charge a small **monthly or yearly fee** to provide you with a tool to use the WhatsApp API.

Please note that your subscription price is based on the contact tier and the subscription plan you choose. You can choose a contact tier from 1K, 2.5K, 5K, or 7.5K, and so on to up to 500k contacts depending upon your list size and select a plan based on the features you're looking for.

### 2. WhatsApp Business API charges

WhatsApp charges a small per-message fee for the messages you send. These charges are **not billed by us,** and **you pay them directly to Meta** (the company that owns WhatsApp) through their respective portal.
