Fix: Phone Number Status Showing FLAGGED
Has your phone number status changed to “FLAGGED”?
Let’s look at why this happens and what you can do about it.
Why does your phone number get flagged?
Your phone number status changes to “FLAGGED” when its quality rating drops to Low, causing it to be flagged by WhatsApp.
This can occur if recipients frequently block or report your messages as spam, or if your messaging activity results in poor engagement.
How to restore your phone number status
If your message quality improves to high or medium rating and maintains this level for 7 consecutive days, your phone number status will automatically return to CONNECTED.
However, if the quality rating does not improve within 7 days, your phone number will still revert to the Connected status, but your messaging limit may be downgraded to the next level.
For example, if your messaging limit is 100,000 messages per 24 hours, it will be downgraded to 10,000 messages.
