Phone Number Migration Guide

If you're looking to migrate your number from another Business Solution Provider (BSP) to WANotifier, this article will guide you through the process.


To migrate your number, you first need to release it from your existing provider. This requires disabling your two-factor authentication:


  1. Go to the Phone Numbers page in your WhatsApp Business Manager (make sure you select the correct Meta Business Account associated with your WhatsApp Business Account).
  2. There you'll see a list of all your phone numbers. Click on the settings icon to open the Settings page.
  3. Open Two-Step Verification from the top navbar menu, then click the blue Turn off two-step verification button.
  4. This will trigger a confirmation email to the admin of the account. Click the link in that email to confirm and disable the PIN.


After completing these steps, your phone number will be available for migration from your current provider to WANotifier (or vice versa). You can then follow this step-by-step guide to create your WANotifier account.


Important Note: If you have an active credit line with your existing provider, you'll need to set up a new WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) when adding the number with us. This new WABA will require a new payment method to be added to it.
